DYING to get my car together!

I have been driving a 91 2.3L Topaz Auto (w/ the A/C on) since my car broke. I can't tell you how bad Im dying to drive the stang and get it all back together again.

This thing is soooooooo incredibly slow I can hardly believe they make a car like this.

Also it has no over drive!

Damn thing almost killed me gettin on the freeway. It could hardly get upto speed on the onramp (slightly uphill).

Hang in there Sky, you'll make it.

When my car was in the body shop after a minor accident I had a Focus to drive. Sure does suck to go from V8 to I4, doesn't it.

Last time I went back to N.J. to visit friends, my rental car was a 2.3L/Auto Tempo, w/ an AM radio. Man, that thing was slow downhill! I feel for you, Sky! Just be glad you don't have to go up to Rose Valley every day!

Thanks guys, I should have it up and runnin this weekend, then going to hit Carlsbad after that.

HOPEFULLY I can get 110mph then.

Sky, what are you changing in your combo? Are you just adding the Holley Intake and port-matching the TFS Heads?

Sky, I know how you feel. My engine has been out since April 1. I can't wait to get my 331 done!!!

A Tempo!

Didn't they stop making those after '94? Thought so.

96 HP, a 3-speed auto and cheesy quality but they used to sell around 200,000 per year and many are still around, unfortunately. At least their replacement, the Contour, was an improvement.

Good luck with the new parts. You've earned your Mustang back.

I went to Europe last October for a month, I couldn't stand not driving for that long so I rented a car. I got a VW Lupo, they don't even sell that here it's so slow, but at least it was a 5 speed. I drove the heck out of that car, it waas actually kinda fun, although being in Europe might have had something to do with that.
