awwwwwww.......that's just sad

Here ius my question. How can they not be sure of the exact year if they have a clean title on the car???????
|
Clearly a Mustang II, Most likely a 77. I don't recall a GT package on the MII but I do recall the Cobra. V-8 was either the itsy-bitsy 255 or the 302. Most came with 4 bangers but a few came with 200 6 or the two v-8s. I doubt if the seller is a gearhead, possibly junk seller.
|
cause they don't even have the car, they probly found it sitting somewhere and there trying to make a quick buck. I wrote him asking how can he have a title and not know the year.
|
Let us know what he says, this is too funny!

bwahahahaha, back to the future a 65 mustang II, lol.   :D :D :D

axman i think you are getting your mustangs mixed up a bit. in 74 the Mll had two engines, the 2.3 ohc 4 cylinder, and the 2.8 V6. from 75 to 78 the Mll added the 302 V8. in 79 the mustang had the 2.3, 28. and 302 the Mll had but they added the 3.3 inline six as well. the 255 did not come around untill 1980, and it lasted untill mid 1982 as the only V8 in the mustang. |
LOL! Actually I would like to buy that little guy for parts! I have a 12 sec. 78' Mustang I bought for $1400 that is needing a few things. What a beaut!

You're right, the 77 did have the 4 cyl and the V-6. I was looking at the wrong year in my identification book. The V-8 offered in 77 was the 5.0 (302) but that was the Cobra. Thanks for catching that! Looking at the grille of that car, it appears to be a 77.

Last time I looked it was up to $20.50, LMAO.
