Ebay scammers

Anyone here see a 1969 Mach 1 R code(428cu) on ebay buy it now 6k? This listing was pulled off ebay and wont come up with the number anymore, but this guy from the U.K. keeps emailing me. I just got a fake email from ebay(all links go to Yahoo.com) for completing a sale I never said i`d buy. Instructions say to western union him $2700.00 and fax a reciept to ebay and they will tell him to ship the car!!! This is too funny.

There are a ton of scams out there! My friend kept getting this email from some "ambassador" in Africa and said he needs someone from America to complete a transaction. He said a rich family has died and he needs someone from America with the same last name to sign off something so he can get the inheritance. He would split 30% with my friend. The dude left his phone number and email. My friend goes and calls the guy...Trip out on this...he reaffirms his request and said he will buy him a plane ticket to London where he can meet some lawyers to process the deal. In the end he would get 30% of the 100 million dollars to be transferred. My friend said the guy had a heavy accent and was willing to wire him a plane ticket so they can meet. I wonder what would have happened if he agreed to take the plane ticket!!

Bravo Capri! That was it. That's pretty scary. Who in the world would go to Nigeria?

Apparently a few people that wanted their money back! ;)

In all seriousness, these scammers are the scum of the Earth. There have been a number of comedic websites created actually mocking these a-holes. Consequently, the Nigerians have threatened death (of course it was just a scare tactic, but I'm sure if we weren't in the West they'd do something stupid). If I were some poor fool that had his money stolen or taken by these people (not HANDED OVER as most of these people were guilty of), I'd probably go about it slightly differently, i.e. put out a contract on their heads. That way you don't have to be bothered with even leaving the comfort of your own home. :D

Of course I have this fantasy of sending my weapons over there FedEx, entering the courtry legally, picking up my "package," and taking care of business as usual. :)

Same thing happened to me when I was trying to sell my truck, the check came, but I sent it back after hearing about the scam.
