Engine+Drivetrain swap: Help!

Hi,
Ok, well my stang's body is in bad/rough shape and is in no
shape for more power (the rear chasis is really screwed).

Last year my rear-upper torque box broke and I got it re-welded
however, I was warned by the mechanic (who's a respected
Mustang mechanic here) that this stang is no shape for more
power (i.e. turbo which is what I wanna do).

While getting the rear torque box fixed, I got a chance to look
at the under-body especially the rear-end and man did it look bad.

Well, I am now trying to sell the stang and am asking $6500CDN
($4000US). I know it's a high price and its gonna be hard to
sell it for even $4000CDN ($2500US).

So, the mechanic suggested that for $2500CDN ($1600US) he
can put my engine and drivetrain (adn any other electricals and
anything else if need be) in another stang with a stronger body
that is in better shape.

I don't have the resource or knowledge to do the swap my self
and $2500 (although a bit high) is better then selling the stang
for lower then what I would like...

What should I do? I am gonna wait tilll winter to see what
happens and if the stang isn't sold by then, then I am seriously
gonna consider the swap.

Bye!

That's an excellent deal. I won't even discuss installing an engine for less than $1000, let alone the entire driveline and electrical. If yours is worth transfering, do it.

Take care,
-Chris
