First Song in New Car
I'm trying to think of a good song to play first when my stang is delivered. I was thinking of "Highway to the Danger Zone" or maybe "Celebration". I need a "driving" song so that I can get the full experience of my new stang. I want a song that will make me tear out of the dealership chirping into second...Any Suggestions?

Have you thought about Limp Bizkit? Or Korn? Even though I hate them now, Metallica is good road rage music. Listen to Limp Bizkit's My Way(or whatever it's called), and see if that will fit.

I think I'm going to burn a cd for the ride back home. The drive is like 20 min. so I should have some time to listen to a couple of songs.

I would just throw on AC/DC Back In Black album. That way you don't have to worry about the "What was I thinking!?" problem 10 years from now.

I agree with PG it's gotta be a classic. I would say if it was a new Cobra we would all be jealous but you should "Once Bitten Twice Shy", or if it isn't just play "Flirtin With Disaster". Just my 2cents.

Awesome....more Van Halen fans. I love Van Halen. My vote is also for "Panama", or "55" by S. Hagar.

that offspring song is good, but i'd say the best driving music isn't that hard metal that everyone likes (metallica, limp bizkit, and etc.) but some fast techno; thats what they use in video games, isn't it?
Paul Oakenfold's Tranceport is a very good album for this, especially the first track (The Dreamtraveler) is great for the start of a race. Other than that, how about "409"? its not about a ford, but its a car song....or "get around". also, Jerry Reed's Eastbound and Down, or Westbound and Down, whichever direction is appropriate. |

"Black Sunshine" by White Zombie...it's about a mustang.
Any number of Van Halen/Sammy Hagar tunes. The first song on my mustang, back in '92 was Guns n Roses. Welcome to the jungle baby. You gonna die! You'll know when the time approaches. |

Yeah go with "Black Sunshine" it's the first song I'm gonna play in my next Mustang. "American Bad A$$" by Kid Rock would also be a great first song to play.
