Help deciding Mods
Hey all, this is my 1st post, great site.
Well anyway, I know it's a bit early but I just can't stop thinking about the 2003 Mustang GT I'm getting september. Well anyway, I was just thinking about all the mods I was going to put in my car and I need some help. My first thing I would do is put in a cool-air intake and a new exhaust. I was thinking of a Borla exhaust, what do you guys think, you all have much more experience than I do. But keep in mind I only have a budget of maybe $1500 max on an exhaust and I want the highest quality for the money that I could get. Any suggestion???

Welcome!!!!
Hi! Welcome to MW~~~~~
Ive got the Borlas w/ the SVO side Skirts and I LOVE THEM!!!!! I had the flows and wanted the SVO system for so long....had the skirts custom painted. Got the system for about $700 from Tommy Vaughn in Houston(shipping incl.)..and paid about $50 for the exaust to be put in, and about another $120 ( NO CHIT) for the paint and airbrushing.....Couplands in LAPORTE>..hes the MAN!!!!! He does AWESOME work.......(very reasonable too!) I"m EXTREMELY HAPPY w/ them.........Theres some pics on this link on the Feature Member section....you can see what it looks like...Theres a good close up up the skirts too....Lemme know what you decide to do!!!!! I also have the MAC Chromed Cold Air Induction. Which is relatively cheap...about $175 tops....or less....Where do you live? Good luck! Topless In Texas http://www.superstallions.com/

You didn't say if it was a auto or a 5-speed........so I'll make a list of the mods I would do for both.........in order
5-speed Cat-back(MAC and Borla are good) off-road H-pipe 3.73 gears(3.55's if you do a lot of highway driving) cold-air induction pullies throttle body & mass-air headers power adder cams auto Cat-back off-road H-pipe 4.11 gears(3.73's if you do a lot of highway driving) shift kit(Lentech and Trans Go are good, don't get a cheap one) cold-air pullies throttle body & mass-air headers higher stall converter power adder cams
