Thats why I dont usually have many female friends. I'm afraid things like that will happen, it has happened to me before. It hurts, I know. I used to blame my self also, but learned that just because someone doesnt pick me that doesnt mean I'm not good enough.

I don't know man, I took my stang out for a drive like it's never seen before. The blue 88 had seen it, but not since I got the white 87 two years and some change ago.

When all was said and done I could smell the oil burning, tires, clutch, and the brakes. Forgot what all that rush stuff was about. Also remembered back when I quadrupled the speed limit a couple times. Never had a chance for the quintuple (although it for some reason seems I did) I guess it's a case of the older I get the faster I was?

Stopped by an old friends house tonight. Couldn't talk much, his g/f was hangin out and all.

As far as not making the cut, I really didn't. Doesn't matter why as far as I can tell. End result stays the same and thats what counts. I've always been the loner of my group of friends. Or what used to be my friends. Many of them have paired off and disappeared. The couple that haven't are trying to, or I've lost touch with them. Over the last year I've gone out with a lot of girls, well over the first couple months of the last year, but this girl is awesome. That's why I can't talk with her anymore. I'll hang on again, and I can't do that this time. It hurt so much last time. Not sleeping (like I'll be doin tonight), not eating.

I tried my *** off this time. Doesn't matter. I'm just an internet guy.

I'm sure that to most of us, Care about the person behind the call name.

Yeah, I know the "Take you feelings out on the car" Routine. I'm surprised I havent blown the engine in my old 289, with as many "Anger Runs" and "Stress Relieving" Drives as I've taken, and how I've taken them.

Guess my girls (Meaning Cars) knows that I need them, and they dont let me down. My 2000 GT has seen several such runs, but not to the severity or frequency of my Old Diane.

While I'm driving, I have no worries but what ahead of me, and what I'm approaching at an ungodly like speed. Well and sometimes about whats behind me, or whats hiding, waiting to tick me with a Radar Gun.

I feel all better, and at peace. That is until I get back to my house and I feel totally empty again.

I used to tinker with my Car for countless hours to help that out. But at 2 in the morning, my nieghbors and family dont apreciate the noise I make, well my car makes, and the sound of tools in use.

Thats why God created BEER!

My advice is READ. Grab a book, and read with the lights low. You'll be tired in no time. (I read Sci-Fi and Horror avidly, but at night for some reason I just pass out) Just being up all night wont help matters at all.

I'm the only one of my friends that dates Regularly and actively. My one friend doesnt seem to mind being single at all, my other friend is going insane, has been for as long as I've know him. He tries like crazy to get girls, but (No offense to my friend, he's a great guy) fails.

Something I noticed is that MOST of us Car Nuts dont have it easy when it comes to Marriages or Relationships, with the exception of Mustang Marty and White Cobra, the first to come to mind. (You lucky guys)

I guess because were to Wild to tame! That and march to a diffrent beat.

Hey Unit, what kind of Guys does she fall for? Is it usually the same type? Let me guess, your totally diffrent Personality wise and attitude wise than the guys she usually dates. I have seen this several times, and experienced first hand.

I have come to find out that when girls have one CLOSE male friend, there usually nothing like the guys these girls date. And when she looses your friendship, the gears in her head might start turning.

Hey guys at least be happy u have girls there u can date. All i have is korean and army chicks none of which do it for me. That is sure going to change when i get back though. Exactly, I have stopped the chase for hte perfect woman. I am kinda interested in ne but I have decided the perfect woman for me will come to me. I have long since retired from the pimp that I was and have passed the torch to my little brother who I must regetfully say gets more booty that a toilet seat. But I am content in my singleness, for now, is simply means the race car, will most likely come together faster, look better and I'll much more fun building it because everytime I work on it is because I want to not becasue I have to to keep from throwing things and shouting obscenities. Granted I shout obsceneities at the car, But when I get tired of her I can trade her in for a new one even after the title is signed. Not so easy with a woman. I'm only 24 dude, lol. Well 24 1/2 today. I don't know what kinds of guys she falls for. I've never met them. As far as my personality goes, I don't know if I really have one sometimes. So many different sides to me it's hard to say if anybody was different from me.

For me not a whole lot matters as far as why it happened, or didn't happen. Knowing why won't change what did happen so it's of little use to me.

All the numbers and little quotes and stuff like that in my head are pretty useless. Comtemplating how to make nuclear fusion work or how engines work or any of that doesn't change it. I could be the smartest guy in the universe, and I still feel like the stupidest.

You were talking about how our stories seem pretty insignificant compared with the others. That may be true on paper, but it certainly doesn't change the way I feel.

Ok I'm really sick of this one sided bulshit. Why is it, in these situations, everyone assumes the other person is a bad individual?? I'm not stupid, I know Kell is a great guy. I also know he lives halfway across the country. I also know that distance like that sucks,and I'd rather be his friend then missing him and fighting like crazy.

Not only that, but why do you automatically assume that the guy I DID pick is a jerk? He is actually the FIRST guy I've EVER gone out that has treated me like gold, and THAT is why I am holding on to him. I've been meeting and dumping jerks all my life. I'm not stupid, I know Kell is a great guy. I also know he lives halfway across the country.
