The civic going at least 60 trying to keep up with the semi pulls off the road and stops within like a 30 foot area. Jesus, those are good brakes, 60 to 0 in 1 second, very nice.

What really impressed me was that Brian could still hold on during that impressive braking manuever. Oh, and they did it on gravel.
Am I the only one that noticed that one of Vin Diesel's "teammates" drove a riced out Mustang? Or was I just imagining things?
Oh, as for the rice. If you replaced every car with good old American muscle and got rid of all the techno-gadgets and technical errors, I still would have hated the movie. The race scenes were dull and uninspiring. A better movie is called "Catch Me If You Can".
SmokeyDP, people were ready to race before they even saw the movie. That's evident with the threads on this site. I would hardly jump to the conclusion that the movie pumped people up to race. It was more of an excuse for people who like racing to meet in one place.
1BAD89 has a pretty good idea. Why don't we actually try to write a good street racing movie with a good plot and lots of action? If we get it done while the topic is still hot, we could make some dough.
