you have any good techno or house stuff
I am always looking but it is hard to find good stuff as it is not very popular to everyday people

I like Basement Jaxx, they have some good beats, Get Me Off is the latest one that is pretty good

i have some unbelieveable stuff from bbc radio one; gatecrashers(dj sasha) and live at creamfields (paul oakenfold). also have various djs at different events and off of various albums. you can find lots of it on line. look up various dj events like the two listed about and you will find them and more, it all on-line somewhere.

How is the new Theory CD? They have a single on the radio, Its that "nothing can come between us song". I like that song alot, even though you could take the lyrics out and they would fit perfect in to a country song.

Anyone have input on Trust Company or Taproot? I think the new SOAD comes out at the end of this month!

Andy

bigred90gt 11-08-2002 11:14 AM

I would have to say Incubus and System of a Down.

Coupe Devil 11-08-2002 12:03 PM

I'm not sure why, Cam, but that really surprises me. I would probably list those as myy top three as well, but not in that order.

Interesting.

Remember when Judas Priest was considered "heavy"? LOL. Oh wait, you're prolly not old enough. Nevermind. (sorry)

Hard choice.. hmm...

"Make his fight on the hill in the early day
Constant chill deep inside
Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey
On they fight, for they are right, yes, but to who's to say?
For a hill men would kill, why? They do not know
Suffered wounds test their pride
Men of five, still alive through the raging glow
Gone insane from the pain that they surely know......"

Well that's my favorite band. Kinda rough, but those of you who are into this band will recognize the lyrics. Later, Keith

PKRWUD 11-13-2002 07:45 PM

I never knew you were into the Bee-Gees, Keith!

Surprises you! HA HA HA. When I was in high school I sported shoulder length hair, a jean jacket, jeans and a white T-Shirt whether there was snow on the ground or it was 90 degrees out :) One of my best friends was the biggest dope dealer in my home town, we always had some weed if we wanted it (I tried to stay away from it when I could :o)

Of course, now I rarely let my hair grow past 1.5" long, wear dockers and collered shirts.

It was the mid 80's when I really got into Metallica and Judas Preist. Preist was pretty hardcore even then. Though they didn't have those nice heavy power cords that metallica (or Pantara) had, the guitar solo's rock!

An Ozzy is timeless, IMO :D

You have no idea how big my range of music is. That's just the stuff I could think of off the top of my head. I've even been known to listen to classical music.

Now how scary is that? :D

Not at all! I love Classical. 17th century baroque style classical (Mozart, Vivaldi, et. al) was the forerunner of todays "heavy metal". Randy Rhoads, the best guitarist that I've ever seen, was fluent in classical, and in fact built his style on a classical background. That's what set him so far apart from the other greats (SRV, Page, etc.). He was classical, and they were blues.

Take care,
~Chris

yea, i like there single. man, morello's a mean mutha on them strings, wilk an timmy c shred it like always.. its the same set up jus without zack..so yea its pretty good.
i hope this is not some cheap effort to keep "rage" around tho.. zack was a pioneer, a visionary an a poet. you can't replace im an call it the same band ... but i downloaded the single, "Cochise", its pretty solid. chris cornells pretty wicked. ..reminds me of a heavier Zepplin or Doors.

there will always be ONE rage, an you can't fake that no matter who ya put on the mic.

and yes, i do plan on buyin the album.

digital3.3 11-15-2002 08:40 PM

chris cornell is awesome, he was damn good when he was with soundgarden (another good band). i think that audioslave is pretty good, but i don't think they are like rage against the machine much at all, rage was something of entirely there own style. i think they found a good mix with cornell and morello though.

andy669 11-15-2002 09:23 PM

I didnt even realize AudioSlave had the former members of RATM. That makes me like them that much more! They play the hell out of the new single, I like it.

Thanks for the info!

Andy
