Favorite beer?
Maybe this topic has been discused before (I'm too lazy to search) but I was wondering what everyone's favorite brand of beer is? For me, it's Sam Adams. Mmmmm. I'm enjoying it as I type
Listing favorite liquors is ok too. I'm just curious about what everyone likes. Dan I would have made a poll but there are so many diffrent brands it's very hard to widdle it down to 4 or 5.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I like Slemans (sp?) and Corona. Molson Canadian isn't to bad either. But if I'm going to drink I'd rather have shots of Tequilla or Rye & Gingerale.

I don't drink much of it any more, but some of my favorites are Corona (with lime), Guinness, Anchor Porter, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, and Bell's Oberon.
I don't know if they still make it, but has anybody here ever had Sam Adams Triple Bock? It could only be sold in certain states due to its alcohol percentage. It came in a cobalt bottle with gold leaf lettering. Very interesting beer. It was brewed with maple syrup. I'd like to know if it's still around. As long as I'm using the MustangWorks message forums to track down beer (lol), does anybody know if Long Shot is still made. I think it was a micro brew from Ohio. It was, by far, the best beer I had ever had.

I tried the SA Triple Bock a few years ago. One of my roomates at Penn State received a case as a Christmas present. It was a very interesting beer. Haven't seen it around lately, but I haven't really been looking either.

I'm not much of a beer drinker.. I prefer Vodka lemon drop shots on the weekends ... But if I were to drink beer it has to be something like Sierra Nevada or the like.. none of that buttwiper watered down pisslike beer.

Sierra Nevada is good stuff. I like their Pale Ale and Porter best. Their Stout is also tasty.

On tap, I would have to say St. Arnolds Amber. In a bottle, it is a toss up between McEwans IPA and Chimay (The white one). As for anything else, CROWN!!!! That is my true poison. Crown on the rocks usually, sometimes I throw in a bit of water.
Caymon And for all of our Canadian friends, Labatt Blue is really good for a cheap beer, and I bet the bottles are really fun in a bar fight!!!

I like Alexander Keiths. I also don't mind Coors Light if I'm drinking at work (keeps the mind a little clearer) But I agree with bigred90gt, Crown Royal is my favorite. Although I like it with Diet Pepsi or Gingerale. |
