Post Favorite Gear?

Does anyone else have a favorite gear? I love 2nd gear. I can drive along at 50 km/h (30 mph), driving the speed limit waiting for some dumb *** ricer to flyby and you you just punch it ('cause at 50 km/h my RPMs are between 2500 and 3000). I love that!

Hi,
Well, it depends on how fast I'm going. If I'm crusin' regular streets (60KM/h or 80KM/h limits), then I love 4th. I usually wait for cars to come close to me, and then I gun it.

Sometimes you can tell these guys are trying to pass us, and it's so funny when they come side by side and just before they take the lead, I give some gas and smoke them. It's always funny.

I dunno much about 2nd gear, except for the fact that it comes after 1st gear.

Bye!

1st-5th, All of them work for me. With the 4.10's all 5 are stump pulling gears.

1st gear for me, mine hooks up well enough with my Avon rubber (and 3.73's) to punch it and hang on tight

3rd gear all the way.

You can drive it anywhere from 20-100+. You can powershift into 2 different gears from there. Power downshift into 2nd, or power upshift into 4th. You can let the ricer think he has a chance by trompin it down at 40 until you hit maybe 50-55, then you hammer it into 2nd and let him know you were just playing with him. Plus, once you hit 65 in 3rd all the rest of the cars realize that you're not going to stop pulling anytime soon, jaws drop and carlengths pile up between you and the idiot who believed 5 point slow.

Yep, you can catch rubber, beat just about anything on the road, and drive just about any speed you want.

3rd gear rocks!

I would have to say 3rd gear because on the street the 1st two aren’t much good, they just spin; but when I hit 3rd and it's all over.
On the track 1st is my favorite because of the slicks, I love feeling like you have just been rear ended by a greyhound bus.

i love it when a trans am or camaro or even another mustang pulls next to me at a light and then take off just normal like i dont want no trouble but keep a eye one the car next to you...just leave it in first gear and let it whind out to about 4 grand so your engine is just houling...then stomp it to the floor and hit 2nd squacking the tires as your victim stares at your tail lights....or what ill do some times to a freind of mine with a 88GT with a 347 stroker..is on a two lane road ill blow by him about 3 car lengths then slam on the breaks till im even with him then stomp it to the floor...of course he smokes me
