from full metal jacket, in the chopper shooting people that are running

It really hit me when I heard that statement, as well. Makes sense too. Whatever you do today will affect what happens tomorrow, maybe not by much but maybe more than you think.

NotchJohnson 10-27-2002 09:58 PM

I know there is quit a few quotes here from full metal jacket, but I didnt see this one:

Rafter Man: "at least they died for a good cause."
Animal Mother: "And what cause is that?"
Rafter Man:"Freedom."
Animal Mother:"****, if I'm gonna die for a word, my word is poon-tang."

Animal Mother rules!

Motorhead302 10-27-2002 11:34 PM

"Two days ago I saw a rig that'd haul that tanker. You wanna get outta here, you talk to me." Max, The Road Warrior

"I had you all wrong, you're not a coward. Stupid maybe, but not a coward." The Gyro Captain, The Road Warrior

"God kills indiscriminately, and so shall we. For no creatures, under God, are as we are, none so like Him as ourselves." Lestat, Interview With The Vampire

"Two men enter, one man leaves!!" About 300 different people, Thunder Dome

"It's my hooves!! My hooooves!!!" Freddy Got Fingered

"There's no crying in baseball!" Tom Hanks, A League of Their Own

"Just because the guys got a library card, doesn't mean he's Yoda." Bradd Pitt, Seven

"The future is not set, there is no fate but what we make for ourselves." John Connor, Terminator 2

"You were gonna kill that guy!" "Of course, I'm a terminator." and: "You can't just go around killing people." "Why?"
And finally, "Put your foot down." John Connor, Terminator 2

"You're gonna die Bob." "And I could lay by the bay, or eat some hay..." Happy Gilmore

Just about anything any South Park character has ever said. Especially: "Screw you guys, I'm going home." and "TIMMY!!"

"Don't overlook my butt. I work out all the time. And reaping burns a lot of calories." "(Bill) Best of 7?" "Damn Right!" "You may be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the Reaper!" The Grim Reaper, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey

"My own brother, a G-ddamned sh1t sucking vampire! Oh, you wait 'till mom finds out!" The Lost Boys

The classic but very overused: "I feel the need, the need for speed." Top Gun

That's all I can think of just now, but I'll try to add more later as they come to me. I just can't believe that all of you missed some of the quintessential Car movies of all time, Mad Max and Road Warrior.

Mercury 10-28-2002 02:31 AM
