Post Music...Which gives you motivation to work on your 'stang????

I was just wondering what type of music everyone likes to listen to when they work on their cars??? For me....fast paced rap or country songs give me tons of adrenaline to work on my car and get sh*t done. What about everyone else???

Smashing Pumkins, trance beat, maybe some Deftones. Any of the above get me going.

1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289 w/ man. 3-speed, nothing special but the fact that it is my first mustang. I am a former import guru....no more.

I've never run it except on the street, it has new wheels & tires, new exaust, and that about covers it. Looking to change a lot in the future including engine. Any ideas are appreciated.

Rock & Roll (pun intended) is for driving

Now country music is for working on cars. Something violent wouldn't be for me while I wuz working on my pride and joy. I could see it know, put in some Sex Pistols and there goes the car up in flames when I couldn't get that damn fuse out!

Cool

While my music of choice for driving is usually ZZ Top, Metallica, Van Halen, or Sammy Hagar....

Strangely enough the classical cassettes find their way to the grimey jam box in the garage. (I know its wierd, but whatever gets the work done right?)

I hate hard music. working on stuff though, it's usually classical because it aids in concentration. when i was fixing the timing on my 800cc BMW i couldn't have gotten it done w/out Tchaikovsky. as far as country goes, i listen to Johnny Cash and WIllie Nelson, but not while i'm working. Led Zeppelin is also really good. a lot of 80's stuff too (Billy Idol). depends on the mood and the work i guess. Changing oil would need different music than swapping heads or adjusting valves, or fabricating parts.

Hmmm...

Taproot, Ultraspank, Lords Of Acid, Johnny Cash, Spineshank, Nothingface, Incubus, Phunk Junkeez, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Hed pe, Slipknot, Zebrahead, Bill Hicks, Finger Eleven, Stuck Mojo, Bad Religion, NOFX, Less Than Jake, Mindless Self Indulgence, Sevendust, old Metallica, etc.

Anything heavy and fast usually. Soemtimes I'm down for something a little slower.
