Thumbs up Finally my car is quiet..........er!

I finally got some 3" 3 chamber flowmasters on my car and got rid of the one chambers and it is almost quiet, it sounds so much better and I can even hear the radio again.

The 1 chamber flows were cool at first but get real old real quick.

The exhaust system is long tube headers and 3" Dr. gas X-pipe and 3" 3 chamber flowmasters with the delta flow technology and I still have the turndowns.

Anyway just thought I would share!

Not that I can tell but I still have yet to get in to it hard since the new motor went in.

I still cannot wait to get the motor broke in and tuned so I can go play, still a few bugs to work out.

Yeah, I have considered going with 3 chamber Flows b/c it can get a little loud inside the car (esp that drone hum ~40 - 50 mph), but soon it won't be my daily driver so I'll leave the 2 chambers on it.

I have 3 Chamber Flows on my car with 2 1/2" pipes and it's still kinda loud. Of course, I don't have any cats, so that makes it some louder. People in the neighborhood always know when I fire it up even though I putter along until I'm away from there.

At least it's not like when I first had the engine in the car and fired it up in the driveway straight out of the headers. A neighbor called the police and reported an "explosion". Hee, hee.

Hehe, A friend did that with a motor he built (383 stroker). He fired it up with open headers on the engine stand; that was cool seeing the stand jump and rock when he revved the motor.

BTW: There is no drone as cruising speeds, you almost cannot even hear it until I get into it. ALMOST!!
