excessive for such a traffic violation (now he is in Canada so I personally don't know what diff would be). Now, if you burned your tires and put smoke all over the ******* roadway while straying out of your lane, now then, that is a diff story. But if it was, as you claimed, a little squeak

Personally, I wouldn't take that crap. Go through the court system and at least learn something. Too many people just say, "oh well, I'd never win so I better not try *pout, pout boo hoo* and so they have no idea how to deal with it if it happens again, they just say "Poor me, I'd never be able to win, so I'll just pay the $13,834,857,640,000 fine. Naaaaaah. I dunno, maybe not being the richest person on the block gives me this type of mentality...
