Dude - get the car. Lots of special parts on those things even the heater core will last longer than a stock 5.0

A cars worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. it might not be worth it to me, (its not in this case, I could think of a lot better cars to get than a 17 year old ragged out ex cop car for $1500) but that doesnt mean its not worth it to you.
Its really hard to get advice on what a car is worth. Do some research and come to you own conclusion. Maybe your into the "cop car" thing, and are willing to pay for it? Are you? They dont do anything for me. The only nice thing about them IMO is the better alternator upgrade, the rest of the "improvements" are worthless to ME, but maybe you like them. |

Trying to be a little sasrcastic are we? You asked for opinions, you got it, smart *****.
Ok, see if this suits your tastes better: "Yes, the car is worth it. Buy it as soon as you can, before someone else gets the great deal before you. Do it, and do it NOW!" Feel better? Dont come here for somebody to tell you want you want to hear. Come here for different perspectives and opinions. Oh, I forgot about the great heater core cop cars have. Better act quickly...lmao |

My dps car has signs of a bad heater core, funny thing is it looked like it leaked a little, now i dont see nothing?
well i say grab it if it has a straight body, you can always throw in another motor, and if it needs carb work throw on a 650 holley dbl pumper, good intake and gears, will be a fun car.

It's not the core thats special its the restrictor in the inlet tube. Just FYI. $1500 for a straight 5.0 cop ride - personal taste counts for a lot but the market will bear way more than $1500 for a ride like that regardles of our views on the car.

got the car for $1000. I have plenty of room to do resto work and mods. I do like the car because it is different. I thought it was a pretty good deal anyway. Thanks all!!

Very cool Do a search on those cars - there is a group of cops in Texas that has a web site up with lots of info. They bought the cars they used in service. I hope they still have a site up it was about a year ago when I found it.
