Not a dorky song at all! ...and I'm *not* a big country fan.
I watch the country music channel every now and then when I'm flipping through channels. I happen to stumble across some hot blonde shakin' her bod and had to stop and see what was going on! ...just happened to be that "favorite color is chrome" video, lol. It's funny you bring that up!!! Faith Hill is another country hottie I don't mind listening to, but watching her is more fun. She had a program on NBC tonight, btw, damn she's beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited to add *not* ....oops! Last edited by ultraflo; 12-22-2002 at 01:04 PM.. |

My youngest daughter has recently discovered country music so now ALL we watch is CMT or GAC or whatever other country stations she can find. When I first heard that song I thought of you! LOL Was wondering if you had heard it yet. A few things that would make the video more appealing IMHO would be if it featured a Stang and if it was Trace Adkins shaking his rump.

I wouldn't consider that song being anywhere close to a country song, but I love it anyway. I hate most of the new country music nowadays, but a few of the performers are ok, like Alan Jackson, Aaron Tippon, and a few others. I grew up old country and this new stuff just shouldn't even be in the same category, like Shania Twain. Now if that's country I'll kiss your ***.

I actually like Diamond Rio. Our next door neighbor's son (Phil Barnhart) wrote the song "I want to be Loved Like That" which is a song I really like because it reminds me of a few things that have happened in my life. He also wrote "On Broken Wing" by Martina McBride. I don't think he has written a song that didn't go number one around here.
