Default This is freakin sweet!!

A guy calls me today and asked if I would build him an engine. He has a 1996-7 Cobra and just needs the bottom end freshed a bit. No problem I said.We do that sort of thing all the time. He asked how much it would cost, and I gave him a rough estimate. Then, and here's the sweet part, he asked if I would consider taking a 2003 Mach 1 crate motor as trade for the rebuild. Uh....you damn right I will!! Anyway, the Cobra motor has all the parts and such, rings, bearing, machine work has already been done, and so on. It just needs to be put back together. I hate to just take the engine from him like that, and I told him that. He stated that he had no use for the Mach 1 engine and just wanted to get rid of it. The engine has never been started, outside of whatever the factory did. This is going to be nice.

Later.

I'll either drop it in my 03 GT, or....and I hate to say it, I'll put it on ebay. I also have a blower to strap on the front of it.....God this could be sooooo dangerous.

I like it.

Oh well, I guess I'll sell it. It's on ebay if anyone wants to check it out. the item number is.......8022768608

I'll have some pics of it out of the customer's car here in a day or so. It was never started, outside of what the factory did. Still has all the plastic caps on it and such. This thing is super clean too.
