Default Fresh Motor......

I just got my 5.0 back together, went thru it and freshened it up,ported the heads and intake, new rings etc. put in a new Comp custon grind cam and when we fired it up........DAMN!!!!!!! I cant wait till sunday when I can get it to the track to test it out,I'm pumped,if it runs HALF as mean as it sounds,I'll be a damn happy camper.anyone else doing maintenance or mods this winter?

i just pray to god that you break that motor in before you go to the track. Unless it's a full roller motor. But if it isn't your gonna be waiting a long while to see how it runs. Good luck!!

LOL,thanks, she's a roller and now has around 5 hrs. of runtime, rings look to be seated well as exhaust smoke went away, she's going to the track with prolly about 10 hours of runtime before we go,remember it's a freshened mother, not a new one, thanks for the kind words
