Default Pros and cons of a fuel cell for the street

I'm currently getting ready to upgrade my fuel system with 1/2 fuel line and electric fuel pump.
Since my fuel pickup need to be modified also, I was considering going with a fuel cell.
A 12 gal. fuel cell is about the same as a Granatelli pick up unit. My only other option is to do the fuel pick up mod like in the tech articles but that looks like it would be a pain.
No matter what I do, I'm going to have to drop the gas tank so that's why I thought of a fuel cell.
What would be best for a street/strip car, which seems to be slowly edging more and more towards a strip car.
I'm trying to walk that fine line between a street car and a strip car and it's not easy. The dark side is pulling me in!!

I would also like to see some pics of some of your fuel installations if possible.

I like my aluminum fuel cell. The install was easy. But it is a pain to put fuel in with a gas can at home. Also for the track I think it is required to put in a fire wall. Check IHRA/NHRA rules. With my hatch I had to cut the floor pan a bit to get a flat surface in the spare tire area for a 4 gal cell.

Boy, this topic threw me off kilter. When I read 'fuel cell' I first thought you meant the kind that converts hydrocarbons to electrical energy.

I need a break from school.

I made my own pick up tube using my stock one. I just add the 1/2 aluminum line to the stock unit. I ran 1/2 aluminum line from front to back. I'm running a holley blue and a mechanical carter super strip pump. I only turn the holley blue on when I'm running Nitrous.
