Fun with cats.....
We got our cat a new toy today, a Laser pointer. She seems to like chasing it. I don't think she likes being sent up the walls.
I've tried everything formtaping her feet to the kitchen floor, and that was funny, but it lacked something. Anyway, what other ways do you know of to annoy your cat? |

well i have a cat and he like clubin my xmas tree. so what we did was but socks on his feet and watched him walk funny. plus my 3 dogs were going nuts tryin to get him.

That blue is a little annoying but Its all good. I much prefer dogs but cats can be so halarious. My dogs would see a cat as a snack LOL

Cats hate water. Put him in a bath tub, full of about 3 or 4 inches of water, with the faucet still running.....we had glass shower doors....so we shut them.....and watched from outside....he was jumping all over the place, trying to climb up the walls....jumping straight into the clear glass doors.....bouncing all over the place.....i cried really hard watching that....it was soooo hilarious....:D
Another thing, if you have a fenced off back yard, put it out in the middle of the yard and chase it around with a garden hose spraying it with water. I swear my cat could run 40 miles an hour when you'd go after him with a hose!!!! Do you have any swivel rocking chairs? Put your cat on the chair and spin it around about 30 times, fast. Then stop it, pick up the cat, and chuck him about 15 feet. My cat ran into tables, walls, and fell down the steps. And walked crooked. :D Hot sauce (the HOT kind). Put a little on their nose.:D My dad actually clipped two cats' tails together and hung them over a clothes line when he was a kid. He said they would just beat the crap out of eachother. I'd love to see that. My dad also tied a brick to one cat he hated and launched it into a pond. That's morbid though. Don't do that. My dad was a naughty child.:D |

Bigwhitecobra- Laser pointers are great for cats. 98stangergirl suggested what is closest to the most fun I've had with my cats: get 4 non-ziplock sandwich bags and 4 rubber bands. Loosely place them over each paw, and hold them in place with a rubber band, but not too tight. Then watch them. Another fun one is to take the safety ring that you remove on gallon containers of milk, and place them around the cats neck, from behind. They usually spend a minute or two trying to figure out who is tapping them on their shoulder, and then just fling it off. My cats will then play with it for 15 minutes or more. Take care, -Chris |

Try this!
Get some packing tape/duct tape and put a 2"x2" piece on the pad of each of your cats feet. They HATE it! They don't like the feel of their feet on the ground with the tape on so they try to keep all 4 feet off the ground and shake them like a Mo-Fo. I did this to my cat once but took off the tape in like 10sec...he looked like he was having an epelectic(sp?) seizure! |
I can see using a laser light, but the other things are just mean:p

Our cat loves the laser pointer and she cries when we put it away. She also loves pipe cleaners. It's funny to bend them and put them around the back of her neck! (only for a few minutes!) The tape thing is f**king hilarious!! HAHAHA! (but, again, only for a few minutes) ...HAHAHAHA! |

My cat loves to play with plastic bottle caps. If I get a drink and don't give her the dang thing she goes nuts. I have found atleast 6 or 7 in one spot at the same time. She also has a thing for ping pong balls. So do the Oscars, but that's another story.
My cat has just gone into heat for the first time, it's so funny. Everytime you touch here she sticks her but in the air, for abvious reasons. Poor baby. Oh, and to the post about stuffing my cat in my nether regions, get bent. Later guys. |

I'd roll my cat over on it's back, and then tickle his stomach. Then just take off running all of a sudden. He'd jump up and just chase me. Once he'd catch up he'd just run past me and after he got so far ahead he'd turn around and look at me, then try to like take out my feet and trip me.....haha.....I was pretty young when I did that though. What good times.....I miss my cat. :( |
well today i came home and found my tree on the floor and my cat stuck underneath it all wet. it was so funny. but i was mad that i had to pick up my tree.

GREAT IDEAS¿¿¿
First off. A lot of that stuff is TOO CROOL! :( . My cat has a HUGE fear of the plastic grocery bags. so i would cahse her around the house. Then when i quit...... i go downstairs watch T.V AND SHE BITES MY FEET!! wutta B*tch. oh well i deserved it.
or mine loves it when i make shadows on the wall. so she just 3-4 feet in the air !! AMAZING.. that is all i do to drive my cat crazy My cat is FAT and OLD.. anyways cya NIK |
Okay... I have 2 cats and we had some friends who did this to their cats and we tried it once. It's not the nicest thing to do to the cat, but it's SO FUNNY!
On hardwood floors or on linoleum (sp), put the cat on it's stomach and spin him/her around using both of your hands. After awhile, stop and watch the cat try to stand up! SO FUNNY!! |

I've done the thing with the plastic sandwich bags and rubber bands. Its funny as hell watching them dance :D
If you have more than one cat, then you can start playing with the laser light with one and move it towards the other cat. That way the other cat get attacked |
