![]() I'm possibly going to be buying an '89 5.0 AOD convertible with 80,000 orig. miles. I was just wondering what kind of mileage i should expect. My '84 gets 16 or 17 usually and it's a pile, so i'm hoping this newer car would be better. Most of my driving is city driving but i do take extended trips sometimes. Thanks in advance!

![]() Eh, my 90lx convert gets 15-17 on 100% city driving. I don't know about long trips. My check engine light has come on a few times recently, so I think my 02 sensors are bad, replacing them will help the milage.

![]() i guess it doesn't matter anymore. I test drove it today and it's got some problems i don't want to deal with for $5800 (many exhaust/header leaks, failing trans, intermittent check engine light, much more). Back to the drawing board i guess.
