![]() I'm looking to run my car once before it gets cold to test out my new drag radials and subframe connectors. Are any Illinois strips still doing test and tune events this year? I used to go to Byron when I lived up north but now I'm currently in Champaign. Are there any good strips in the Central Illinois/ West Central Indiana area? Thanks for the help.

![]() I'll be up at Cordova Dragway Friday night, Oct. 11 doing some testing/tuning... they'll be doing Fri's until the end of Oct. Gates open at 5:30... and they run from 6-9pm.
Mason County Raceway, in Havana (1/8mi track) runs on Sunday's... Check either track's homepage for the schedule... Hope to see ya! I'm trying to get my friend to round-up his import car buddies... that should be interesting ![]() ![]() |

![]() I'd love to try out Cordova but its a little far for me. I may end up hitting up Byron on Saturday. It appear that Route 66 has no more Test and Tune events this year. Am I wrong?

![]() It certainly does appear that Route 66 is done doing the TnT sessions for the remainder of the year... you are, in fact, correct sir.
![]() I've never run my car at Byron or Joliet... the furthest I've ventured from home is Gateway. I frequent Cordova and consider it as 'home track' even though it's 104 miles away from my driveway... been to Havana too, but that place is a HOLE! Good Luck and have fun @ Byron... enjoy the cool air. aaaannd... Weeeeee!! I'll be tuning for some 10.teens next time out... as much as I want a 9 sec. timeslip, I don't want a split block ![]() L8R! |

![]() I'm shootin' for 13s. Haven't run my car in three years and 30K ago. The cool weather should help. Byron is a pretty nice track, average traction I would say. I've heard good things about Cordova though.
Good luck with the hunt for 10s! Go Bears!
