Smile Getting Married

I wonder if anyone remembers the last time I made a thread with this title(5 or 6 yrs ago).. Well, this time it seems I've found Ms. Right. I made it official 2 days ago with a ring. I met this girl in May and I've never ever felt this right about anything in my life. We haven't made a date yet but it'll be in the next few monthes. We just seem to be on the same page, if you know what I mean. She's had 2 mustangs in the past, an 84GT and 94GT. I handed the Avalanche over to her and I now need a 'dependable' work car and she insist it be another mustang(so she can drive it). I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life and I just never thought I would find the right one... its true what they say about the right one coming along.

Congrats, I know you will be happy. You won't believe this, but every time I see one of those big brown vans, I wonder if it's you'?

Heeh, thanks Rev. She has moved in and she has run me out of the house with my smoking and drinking soooo.... me and my brother cleaned out the garage last night and laid some checker board vinyl. I'm gonna put a frig and tv out there next, she's already dubbed it "The Man's Room". I'm loving every minute of it. Oh and she corrected me... it wasn't an 84gt she had, it was an 86.

Its funny you should say that about the brown van, the company has told us repeatedly that the public thinks of UPS as the driver they know. I hope you see UPS in a favorable light.

Hey Rick.

Congratulations! You know, I was probably around to read that thread, maybe I did, but I spent all my time in the tech forums back then ('cause I didn't know anything). Now that I know everything, I spend more time in here. .

Like I said, congrats! Best of luck to the both of you and God bless.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys.

I had to go meet her parents last weekend and when I got back in town my computer started shutting down on me and now it doesn't work atall. As soon as I get it back up and running I'm gonna introduce her to you guys. I'll probably be alittle more regular on here again... if you can stand it

Mike, I still have the 89 mustang and I thought we had it fixed but now it has more issues to deal with, hopefully simple stuff but I doubt it. I get very disgusted with it sometimes.

Thanks Mike. I haven't forgotten this place, I just had to get my life in order and things seem to be going pretty good right now, better than ever. I'm sure I'll get the mustang going again soon. My future father-in-law, having heard my girl talk about it, wanted to hear the mustang run today. He couldn't believe that sound was coming from a convertible, heeh. I'm hoping the problem is just exhaust related.

I dont want to rain on your parade, but consider a pre nup. Happiness can turn to hell at any time, and you want to protect yourself. Good luck!
