i just realized how bitter i sound...

mustangII460: I certainly have run into many very nice police officers and I've also had assistance from them in the past. So please don't take this as a hit towards you, I've just experienced too many bad cops in the past.

I think it's great what teh majority of them do to keep a community in a great state.
