Thumbs down Getting sick at work

I am in a really sour mood today. I can feel my chest getting congested and it is all a co-workers fault. They have four of us in a small office and she has been hacking and gagging all week.

We can't open a window (they don't open) and she won't go home. I personally don't feel like getting sick this week, and it seems unfair(unjust) that she can come contaminate the workplace becuase she doesn't feel like burning sick days.

I am totally out of line on this one? What is proper ettiquite for sickness?

Tell her that if she wants to come to work in that physical state then she will have to do it in a bubble so the rest of us dont have to suffer!!
Remember the movie Bubble Boy?
Let the boss know and maby he or she will send her home .

That's cool, man. I was gonna say just find some way to get rid of that mobile infection machine...uh, your co-worker I mean. I don't care what the circumstances, if there's somebody at work that's sick, I tell my boss, either they go or I go. I know everybody can't afford to do this, but how much is your health worth to you? Since I'm diabetic and asthmatic, it's everything to me.

Take my advice: drink LOTS of Sobe Lizz Blizz (the white one), 'cause it has lots of Vitamin C and Zinc....and something else that begins with an E. Anyhoo, that and a lot of sleep, and at least you'll recover faster. I did this when I had a bug last winter that had everybody out for a week, including my family, and mine only lasted 3 or 4 days. Hope this helps.

I say eat some pork and beans and stink up the place and say this is how your contaminating me with your disease. Nothing like a better explanation then a demonstration. I'm starting to think like PKRWUD now. hehehe... I would tell her though, it's not fair and that she should use her sick days cause that is what they are given for.

I enjoy beans. I often eat the large can of Bush's Baked Beans when I'm at work. You can only imagine the stink a 1lb 12oz can of beans can make in an ambulance

Dude, go easy on her! She'll get better with time. Trust me.

That's pretty cool that you get paid for doing that.

Take care,
~Chris

As far as feeling sick, you should always get your hands on some ZINC at the first symptoms. Works KILLER!!!

Take care,
~Chris
