Cool

Here is some advice from a fellow Cobra owner.

4.56, H-pipe, Slicks = Instant 12's.

4.30's at a bare minumum. Don't be afraid of the gear. The DOHC likes to rev.

Shift at 7000 rpms.

Anything else, just ask.

Later, Jason

Thumbs up

I agree. I got my 4.10s back in the day when 3.73s were considered "wild". But deffently for strip and even for a strickly street duty I would say 4.30s.

Cobra + gears + shifter = FUN! Pro 5.0 or Steeda are generally the shifter of choice. I perfer the Steeda Tri-Ax, but you're not losing much (if any depending on preference) with the Pro 5.0.

Exhaulst is also good. Mustangs in general, but especially Cobras are very choked up in the exhaulst. There are lots of very good exhaulst combos available. Pretty much all of them are good. The big choise is rather or not you want to go with an offroad or catalytic H or X pipe and what you want it to sound like.

But congrats are the new ride. Cobras are a heck of a lot of fun!
