Talking got rid of my old rims

Well I got rid of my 18" spoked rims and I put back my stock rims , I can now smoke some rubber real easy. I think my 18"s were making my car heavy they were 50 pounds each the reason I got rid of them was that on Monday goin south on 15 my drivers side rear tire blew out and the back of my car shock so bad I got so scared I almost lost control of my car Like those tires were so expensive I just bouth some for my stock rims and my car feels better. Last nite I raced my friend that haves a 93 acura gs and I smoked him so bad I did it better than the last time this time I smoked him right from the start and the other time He was ahead from the start but i beat him wen we hit 60mph ... this time I beat him by 4 car lenghts I think it was cuz I dint have that much weight from my old rims. By the way he has a 5 speed
