No, the
coldest day on record in Edmonton is -61 degrees C or -77.8 Degrees F(plus windchill). The typical "average" cold spell here is a mere -30 to -35 C (-22 to -31 F)(plus wind chill). However the Northwest Territories (a short flight on a 737), DOES get that cold.
