Five0 12-16-2001 08:34 PM

Thank you.:D

I taped them off myself but my friend sprayed them.

That pic from above the hood is sweet. You just need to have someone that's good with PhotoShop get your arms holding the camera out of there!:p That car is sweet though. Very, very tastefully done. I like it a lot.....Nice job man!

Five0 12-16-2001 08:45 PM

Sorry about that, Is this better?

Mustangbelle306 12-16-2001 08:50 PM

hehe I was wondering wtf that was on the hood :D

srv1 12-16-2001 09:09 PM

dude i like the paint job! what kind of blue is that?

Five0 12-16-2001 09:11 PM

Hehehe, yea that was me trying to get a good shot of the flames and the closer you get to the car the more visible they are so I tried to get one high and right over the hood.
As you move away from the car the flames disappear.

I have had several people walk up to the car and don't even notice them until they are right beside it and they start remarking on how good it looks.

It makes you feel good to hear people talking good about your car; especially if you did some or all the work.:)

Five0 12-16-2001 09:12 PM

It is a pearl blue in the clear coat. (paste not powder)

1969Mach1 12-16-2001 10:20 PM

Very Nice! I was going to ask how noticable they were because they looked like they could be hard to see but they look very nice!

Great Job! ;)

Five0 12-16-2001 10:43 PM

Thanks:D

tireburner163 12-17-2001 01:45 AM

Awsome flames man, I love them

When I get my car repainted I'm gonna get the whole car painted pearl blue.

6T9PONY 12-17-2001 01:47 AM

Did you decide to try and paint your front bumper cover tireburner? And just try to make it match the rest of the car.....or are you going to wait until you can get the whole thing painted?

tireburner163 12-17-2001 01:55 AM

6T9 Pony I'm gonna wait till I can get the whole car painted . I'm gonna use the money that I was gonna use on the front cap and other body parts and put it towards a 302 for my car:D

6T9PONY 12-17-2001 02:09 AM

What are you going to mod on the 302? Anything? You have to mod SOMETHING.....hehe....

Sorry for changing the subject Five0!!:(

mustangman65_79 12-17-2001 04:49 AM

I love the flames. I have one thing to say that u should add to your car. Finish off the exhast, put the pipes out the side, it throws the sound better. Under hides the sound.

Five0 12-17-2001 08:34 AM

Actually if you heard the car you might not say that. I have 3 chamber flowmasters and you can feel the rumble in your chest.
I have a friend with 2 chambers with turndowns, off road h-pipe and headers and my car is louder than his; I am guessing from the 3" exhaust or maybe the extensive mods.
It is very loud and I am trying to quiet it down a little more.

The next thing I will do to the exhaust is mac mufflers and 3" tail pipes.

6T9PONY, No porblem!

Rick 91GT 12-18-2001 08:41 AM

Damn..that looks awesome! I can do all my own wrenching and such but I have never done any body work. The plan is to have my car painted this winter Metallic Silver and maybe some pearl white ghost flames or something in the future.

A buddy of mine had a old Chevelle and he flamed his engine bay to match the hood, looked great but like you said most people don't see it until they are right up on it.

Looking Great! Got any more pic's of the motor since the carb swap?
