Yep... I have a cheat code for you....
PRACTICE!! Seriously, its much more fun going the long route as you slowly see your car develop.... you also get much better at the game... I still have my fully modded Cobra and Lotus...

82 GT,
There aren't really any "cheats" per se, they're more like, "get this car, then win these races (which could be hard as crap... or not) and then win it more and more to get a bunch of money, then buy this certain faster car with the money you just won, and win the other races which give more money, then etc, etc, etc..." --- not really cheats... You won't be able to just type in a code and get whatever car you want... In the long run, the game is more satisfying just going through it as it was meant to be. But go on Google and you should find some hints...

Well, I already have Gran Turismo 1 and 2 and went the long way on both of them.
On GT2, I kept racing the same races over and over again, winning new cars, selling them, until I had 11 million dollars! On that game I own over 30 cars completely maxed out. What's the best car to have on GT3. I know on GT2 it was the Viper R/T(according to the hint book I bought for it)

Followed by the porcshe, the one priced in the middle. Cant remember the name. BTW: the fastest car on GT2 was either the Mitsubishi AWD GTO TT........Or the Skyline. They both easily take the Viper when fully modded and tuned.

i got GT3 for PS2 and started playing, and playing, then playing some more and looked at the progress % thing and i had all of 6.7% percentage done. #$@$*#@!!!
so i have currently gotten a GameShark and enabled only the "no tire wear" and "10 Trillion Dollars" codes and am ripping up, and still only 20% finished with the game. my Cobra R has 700+ hp, but you want major power get the Honda Race Car (or Toyota i think) and max it out = over 1300hp! btw you can max out a Mitsubishi 3000GT and get over 1100 or 1200hp, and the Competition RX-7 and the racing Corvette gets like 900+hp. if only true to life in my case...

found a way to get free HP
A found a way to give your car free HP on GT3.
First, when you buy a new car and before you race it, change the oil and wash it. It will give you an additional 5-40 HP It works.
