I just seen that bad boy on the MSN website. I was about to just come post on it.
Check out GT-40 although I'm sure the official website is better. Looks like something to challenge the Charger Doge is coming out with.

Thumbs up

That is the sweetest car Ford has seriously considered making... ever. Wish I had the money to get one, although I know I won't... grrrrr.

I've driven one before! It was white! I took it up to about 180 with it's 6-spd and back down to 0! It was a rush! But wait a sec...it was on Need for Speed 2!!!! The old school computer game!!! Haha....but it even sounded sweet on the game!!!

you guys probably won't believe this, but I did drive a '65 289 Shelby A.C. Cobra that my brother-in-law owned. That was probably in '68 or '69. It was a street version 271 HP about 2000 lbs. Plenty torquey and fun to drive. No racing or anything but a fun Christmas morn drive on a diserted freeway in Houston many years ago.

Belle, there was a GT-40 that Ford and Shelby built to beat Ferrarri at Le Mans back in the '60's, and it did. They soon outlawed the 427 and I think limited displacement down to 302 CI (I could easily be wrong as to displacement).

These new ones are concept cars which we all hope will be produced for whatever purpose.

I LOVE the GT40. I was thinking about building one some day. but hey maybe now I'll just have to buy one!

Finally Ford would have a car to kill Vipers, Vettes, Diablo's, Ferrari's, whatever!

Please Ford MAKE THIS CAR!!
