GT-40x Aluminum heads, street-legal?

I'm planning on buying a short block and putting on some GT-40X Aluminum "Turbo Swirl" heads. I've heard these aren't street legal. Can anyone tell me this for sure? When compared to Edelbrock performer 5.0 heads they are almost identical except for the performer heads come with 1.90" intake and 1.60" exhaust and gt-40x's with 1.94" intake and 1.54" exhaust. Combustion chambers are almost the same also, 60cc for Edelbrock and fords' 64cc or you can get them with 58cc but i was looking at the 64cc ones. thanks for any info.

C.A.R.B. number

Check to see if they have a C.A.R.B. number (California air resource board). If they're street legal in Ca., then they should be street legal just about anywhere. At least that's my take on it. You can probably get that info from your local SVO Ford dealer or anyone else that sells those heads.
