Post GT and Cobra owners...

Check this out.

Hey all you GT and Cobra owners, ever heard anything like this? I don't have one so I don't know whether to laugh or be worried. I just thought I would see what you all thought.....I trust most of you on here more than anywhere else anyway.

Everybody pile on Ford!!! Or at least that's what it seems. Geez.

Holy **** ! If your wheel falls off at highway speeds you're screwed! So everybody weld your wheels on!

Interestingly I've driven a Ford with this system that had a bad steering pump. Braking and especially turning effort was increased, but the car was by no means undriveable, much less a safety hazard. Amazingly the people that design brakes and steering systems actually think about this sort of thing...

Well, like I said I don't have a GT or Cobra but I just was curious if any of you all had heard that. I was pretty skeptical as well but I got the response I was expecting....

1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289, Manual 3-speed, Edelbrock 650, Flowmaster 3-chambers, and minor upgrades. Interior work includes custom paneling, custom dash dress-up(I refuse to cut anything out of the original), Rewiring most of the electronics, Porsche 911 seats installed soon, and Stroker kit when I get to Texas. November of 2001 I will go back to Dallas.

I really find it fun to read about a technical discussion where people give objective arguments and don't take it personnaly. That was sarcasm by the way.

This thread is stupid, instead of trying to find the source of the problem they give opinions about it.
