im torn between:

Jimmie Johnson
Kurt Busch
and unfortunately, Dale jr.

I think it'll be one of the young-guns: dale jr, curt busch, matt kenseth, jimmy johnson, mike waltrip. they all seem to think dale jr will take it this year.

I don't follow NASCAR at all, but I heard today on the sports news that the Ford's aren't doing well this year. Something like 8 of the top 10 are Chevy's or something?

It seems like every year there is manufacturer that is at an aerodynamic disadvantage or something else.

well considering in the bud shootout Dale jr came all the way back from 19th to 1st in less than 6 to 7 laps, i'd say he's got his act together and will win the Daytona 500. If not him, it will be a DEI car.

I could not stand Dale Sr.,but for some reason I like Dale Jr. I haven't really seen where Jr. has picked up
on Sr.'s driving style. As far as him being better @ 80% than most guys @ 100%, he IS. From the 10th race to the 22nd (when he was hurt) race he averaged ~27th, which is better than MOST guys out there.

That's why this sport is so great. You could be my neihbor and hate the same guy I like, not like those "area"
sports (baseball, football, basketball....)

oh yea.....I hate Budweiser too....but, GO Jr.
