I have Canadian insurance, but am living in the states. Since I was intending to stay for only 11 months my insurance company said they would cover me. However after they said they would they seem to have a change of heart, looking to cancel if the opportunity arrises

The problem that I have is that my car is insured in
Canadian Dollars, and if someone sues me in
US dollars with the currency exchange I'm foo-bar.
