Thumbs up Healthy diet? Want to get lean...

Hey what's up guys? I want to get really lean, anyone have any good cooking recipe's(couldn't think of another word, not trying to be a weirdo.) What about some diets? What to drink, eat, etc? Good workout routines? I really want to be in top form for racing motocross. Thanks guys.

By the way, I'm in pretty good shape right now(not fat at all), just need to drop some minor weight, and tone up.

Not much, I was weighing around 160lbs. and I was really lean, I've bulked up to 190 since then, but it's pretty much all muscle, just been working ut eveday hardcore for 6+months. I guess what I really wanted to know are some good foods.

I'm no Dr.,but this is what works for me.
Chicken, and not the deep fried kind. Baked or grilled. When buying meats, op for the leaner cuts with less fat. Salads with low fat/no fat dressing and not much cheese. Dairy products,go for the lower fat version. If you have an active lifestyle and can't avoid fast foods, ask for a calorie guideline(most places will supply one on request) and op for least amount of fat. (Subway rules!! LOL) Try eating whole grain breads and cereals low in sugar. Cut down on chips and snacks or again go for the lower fat variety. Have more suggestions, but I'm running late for work . Good Luck

Its not hard to tell what is good and bad for you.

Stop eating burgers, and frys, and cut anything but water out of your diet for drinking.

That alone should do it.

I dont get it. You were 160lbs and gained 30lbs of muscle? That would take easily over a year, and then your back to 160 again?

How much do you want to weight? Why would you want too loose that much weight.

I eat all I can, and work out a lot and I cant gain a pound.

Skyler

That's how I am too, Skyler. I take three 900 calorie weight gainer shakes a day, along with 3 full meals, and snacks whenever possible. I want to gain 10 pounds for this football season. It's really hard for me to gain any weight unless I hit a big growth spurt.

Now that I think about it I was 160-170 well over a year ago, so I guess I really can't compare my weight then and now. And I suppose it's no 30lbs.of all muscle. The scale I've been using, I found it to be innaccurate, one minute I step on it I weigh 185, then the next 192, then 188, then 182, so....no I am not back to 160 again, I weighed on a "good" scale and I weigh 185. I know how I could lose weight, I guess I just wanted to know some good food combinations. I'm 6"-6.1" It's really not a weight issue, sorry for the confusion.

Heh, I remember when I weighed 160. Of course it was 6 years ago but I remember. I always like to get my drivers liscence out and read it, it says 150. Yeah right. I weigh about 210 know. I am trying to watch what I eat but havent been to the gym in a bout three months. I need to start back just dont have time. I hate to do this but are there any of those diet pills that actually work. I think if I got the weight off I could keep it off. That would be more reason to go to the gym then.

Brad

And besides I could stand to drop a few pounds before next season. It doesnt matter how weight concise you build a car if your a lard a$$.
