Can't we just keep this thread civilized? Please? I really don't wanna have to lock it, guys. Just a simple "j/k" at the end of your posts would clarify kidding or not. That and a little self-control. If you wouldn't want to read what you've posted directed at yourself, don't post it. Thanks. :)

Am I the only one who's still having fun here?

*Figured the hippie would catch on to the CSNY reference ala 'Suite Judy Blue Eyes'*

Capri-It is getting pretty darn hard to tell who is just being sarcastic anymore, what with all the whining and 'I'm leaving' garbage, eh?

Back on the topic...

Skyler, you made a statement about how although the treads can become heated at times, there is usually some good information that can be learned. I agree completely. I was reading that cam thread and am still learning more and more about camshafts.

Unfortunately, sometimes the name calling/childish behavior gets out of hand and then there goes the thread.

The number one thing that made me join this site almost 4 years ago was the very helpful way that the members conducted themseleves on the boards. It just seemed like the posts had less of a 'I know everything and you don't so shut up!' and more of a 'Hey these are my experiences with that cam, or these heads, or whatever, and here is my advice'.

I'm not an ASE certified mechanic (I know, I know, I had many of you fooled :D ) so I know very little about cars, engines, tranny, brakes, and everything else on a car...but I have learned alot from these boards and from working on my Mustang. I hope that we can all lighten up a little and get back to helpful and resourceful posting as it's in everyone's best interests.

jj - Nice win by your Gators this weekend - really responded well from the loss to Miami. My Buckeyes looked like crap but got the win.
