All sounds good, but I'd have to drop the weezer.
Kid Rock Bawidtaba, and American Badass gotta be a couple of the best hauling *** driving songs too. Skyler ------------------ -1989 Saleen Mustang #406- TFS TW Heads, E-303, Edelbrock intake, 70mm TB, 73mm MAF, 24lb injectors, 1 5/8 shorties, Off Road H, 3 Chamber flows, Jaz Race seats, Back seat removed, sub-frames, Roll Cage, and a 80 shot of N20. 12.54@107.4 Motor 332RWHP, 350rwtq |
Yeah the Weezer isn't necessarily for racing, I don't even know why I put that on there. Is napster working? I know it wasn't a while back. www.audiogalaxy.com is where I get mine. I kinda got burned out on kid rock, when a song comes out, the radio stations just play it over and over. Like I'll burn a new cd in a week or two because I'll be burned out on those. =P
|
Yeah, I agree. Did you see the new 20x CD-Burners? We just got em in to our store. Pretty crazy how fast it is... I havnt seen any 20x media yet though, but its gotta be out there.
The thing about burned Cds is just a few scratches and they start skipping. Maybe I've been hanging around with the old gear-heads too long, but I really don't car for this new stuff too much. I prefer some old school Metalica guitar. MidNitBlu5.0 sent me a song the other day. Some Static-X song and it was kinda cool.....for the first 10 seconds. Then they started singing....or screaming like the spawn of Satan is more like it. I was like WTF, that's not music...that's noise!
I like a bunch of the new stuff.....but some is just mindless noise, IMO. |

Finch: What it is to Burn Trust Company: Downfall Glassjaw: Cosmopolitan Bloodloss Glassjaw: Trailer Park Jesus New Found Glory: My Friends Over You Thursday: Understanding in a Car Crash Team Sleep: Liquid Lords of Acid: Show Me Your Pussy |

......my personal fav of the group :D |
hehehehe didnt like Static X - Get to the gone did ya? :D :D
Thats actually as close as i get to the real screaming stuff. Funny how static X doesnt scream much at all compared to other bands like At The Gates  Like Belle said Trust Company is a really good band. Heres some more on my winamp list you guys might wanna check out. Audiovent - The Energy Flaw - Only The Strong Survive (I would highly recommend you guys checking out Flaw) Also Nonpoint is a REALLY awesome band. Good songs are "What a Day", "Mindtrip", and "orgullo" (orgullo is all in spanish but its still an awesome song) Later, Nick |
Actually I'm quite the metalhead... I like all those songs that were mentioned originally! :)

PKRWUD, maybe these groups will sound more familiar to you. Some of the younger guys might not recognize them.
Quiet Riot Cinderella Boston Twisted Sister Van Halen Beastie Boys Dio Meatloaf Guns & Roses AC/DC U2 Poison Pet Shop Boys Bring back memories?? |

Thank you. just for schits and giggles, let me say that i have never liked U2, the Pet Shop Boys, or the Beastie Boys, but at least I'm familiar with every band on your list. I don't know if that makes me feel any better, though. LOL. :) Take care, ~Chris |
I just tried to name some oldies for you because I knew you would know them. I'm a year older than you, so I knew some groups to list that you would know.
I still like some of the newer stuff today. I'm surprised he didn't mention Eminem |
I must just be out of touch then.
BTW, you're really OLD!!! j/k, but that did feel pretty good. :D Take care, ~Chris |
