I rarely do third unless Im at the track. I bet you could drop a few tenths if you powershifted them all but then your trans probably has a few miles on it by now.

AJ, the duration of my B cam is 224. Thats exactly the limit of what TFS reccomends for stock pistons without valve reliefs. Do you think I could get away with more? Maybe more isnt so good? Sky seems to be doing great with an E cam.

I could probably get another tenth or so outta it if I did that. But my tranny is old, and has unknown mileage, and has had the **** beat out of it for a long time.

If I ever get a Tremec I will. I keep wondering if I should just say screw it and ditch the A/C and put in a non-smog cam and more gear...

The roll cage is making it feel like a more drag only car...... So hmmmm.

Sky, ditch the AC. I havent had it since I installed my longtubes. I need a longer hose and have been to lazy to get one. You drive a teg daily dont you? Your car sounds like a trailor queen in the making. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif I would defintitely reccomend a Tremec too. A 3550 is actualy cheaper than a new factory replacement and better. But if I were you I would probably get a T56 and go to steeper gears.

Sky, What valve covers are you using and are you using an intake spacer? Do you have a cowl hood?

Im just wondering because I heard its even harder to fit these heads into my engine bay because of the stupid intake elbow.
