Well, looks like things are even BETTER than I expected!!! Instead of closing on the 19th, looks like i'm closing either next Thurs.(Valentines) or Friday!!!! We are waiting on the appraisal on it and if the sellers new house is done, I am good to go next WEEKEND!! I'm maneuvering myself around 40 boxes in my apt. and have yet to finish packing!!!!!!! My apt. looks like a major bomb has exploded in it and quite frankly, I cant stand to look at it anymore!!! and most of all...I CANT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THIS CLEAR LAKE TRAFFIC!!!!! UUUGGGGHGHHGHG! I HAVE NOT YET STARTED ON MY GARAGE!!! (MY FAVORITE ROOM!! ) I need to throw crap out and pack it up and I know that will eat up a day, easy! Planning on this weekend hammering the garage! and also I need to take all the 'hardware' out of the apt i put in. Towel racks, curtain rods, etc... The biggest PITA will be transporting my 'wildlife'. The 30 gall. fishtank, 20 Gal. w/ 2 1/2 HUGE Red Ear Sliders, a 20 gall. fish tank and a baby fish nursery!!! HOPEFULLY they will not get sloshed around so much they get brain damage and die!!!! I bet the guys are gonna wish they never offered to move me when they see all my crap..... (they are not REAL BIG boxes!!) Thank God for Camaro Kid and his BAD ***** HUGE enclosed car trailer!!!!! I do believe I will have to fire up a pit...(do I have one?:confused: ) and dig out my blender for some Killerritas!!! Sooooo....this time next week, I should be about 3 days away from THE MOOOOVE!!!!!! I'm sure I'll be really fired up then..now I just got Waaaaayyyy too much to do! I AM GOING appliance shopping this weekend...and YES>.....I'm gonna print UNITS thread on SEARS!!!!! All the guys had great advice on appliances!!!!! Which, btw; THANKS GUYS!!!!! I wish ya'll all lived a little closer....we could have a great moving day!!!!! :D That would be too cool.... for those that dont go to Female Power, I tried earlier to post a pic of my house here, and it would not let me cuz it said I was doing a 'duplicate'!!!! I will try it one more time. For that reason, I had to do this post TWICE and I am not a happy camper right now....If it does not work.....I have a thread in FP, "I Bought a House" If anyone is interested...... I'm trying to decide, how can I move next weekend, and not be 'down' on my computer time???? HMMMMMM....which, btw: I'm buying a new computer desk too...this little one SUCKS!!!!!!! (and my computer will now have its own room and not have to share it w/ the closet!!!!! ) I have a REALLY BIG CLOSET HERE! HAHAHA :cool: |

But, the only thing you have going for you Topless, that once you're done you can take your time arranging and re-arranging, again and again till you get it like you want it. hehe SRV1 you must be fun to bug..how bout that Topless, give me some ammo. If i were in texas, I would make a trip to help ya move. I love it when someone gets what they want so badly..as long as it makes them happy. That makes me happy. But being in Indy kind of prohibits that road trip..ya know? But if I were in Dallas, I would drive 4 hours..sleep over included. Good luck Chick..I'm really happy for ya.:cool: |
im glad for you christine, hope you do get to move earlier than you were scheduled to moving is a pita but at least you wont have to do it again:D that's the best part ,sorry if we lived closer we would give you a hand,good luck,marty & odie:cool:

UUUGGGHHH!!!! Stayed home the last 2 nights to pack some more!!!!! This Sunday I will either be moving just the boxes(topped out at 60 TONIGHT!!!) and I'm STILL NOT DONE!
OR will move everything, depending on the guys...if not everything this Sunday, then everything else will go next Sat. the 21st! Gotta post these pics of my place now and what i'm living in!!!! I feel like an expirimental RAT in a MAZE......uuugghhh! My back is killing me!!!! Anyone got any good muscle relaxers???? :rolleyes: |

Woe Christine, I sure do know how you feel, its a mess now but after the move just think of all the good times and fun you will have putting it all together, and I sure do belive you and Catlin are going to enjoy the more sooo much I wish you all the luck in the world and remember it might be a mess now but you are moving from there and going into a beautiful house which you can do with anyway you want, Hang in there I am sure you will be just fine, good luck Odie

know you are really tired, and probably sore..But extremely happy... I really wish at times i was back home in Texas. But my life is here now:( John won't ever leave Indy.
But that's ok..it will give me an excuse to head south for a couple of weeks this summer. Stop in Dallas and see my sis, head on to Houston, see my bro, and maybe hook up with some iof you guys that live down there. Who knows Christine, I may still be able to help you unpack..haha If you are anything like me, you will knock it all out with a quickness...gotta have it perfect. Thats the virgo in me. Anyway, I'm glad ya got most of it done. And btw the messes are excused:D |

I closed on Valentines day!!!!(the ONLY valentine I got other than the goodies Caitlin left me!) It still has not sunk in...I"m supposed to take posession today(now) Saturday sometime! CANT WAIT!!!!!! I"m DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT HAVING ALL MY MW BUDS OVER AT FFW/BAYTOWN MAY! Party at my house!!!!!! Man.. I love my house....hope most of ya'll that will be at FFW/Baytown will consider hanging out!!!!! Something to think bout!!!!! I've been under the weather lately w/ the homebuyers stress, but, and just being 'sick' and tired......still gotta move the 70+ boxes on Sunday....then next Sat. move the big stuff!!!! yeehaaa! AND .....my house payment is $40 less than i was payng for my apt!!!!!! Going appliance shopping this week!!!! Wish me luck!!!! :confused: |
