Default Honda's are gr8t...

Ok, now that I got your attention, they are at least good for one thing. They make good ATV's and generators, stuff like that. But for cars, as we all know, they stink. It's weird that they good products in one area, but suck in another. I mean, u don't see Ford atv's rolling around do u? And if u have, please take a pic of it for me.

How many other of u own a honda product? I have a Honda 3-wheeler.

For what it's worth, Honda makes good ECONOMICAL vehicles. That is about the only thing they are good at. They will get you around for many years to come sucking down a mere 32mpg. But they are by no means street machines. I like to compare them to a golf cart with windshield wipers and headlights. A good throaty sounding AMERICAN V-8, now that is a street machine!!!!

Mustangman, is there a typo in your sig? It says forged steel pistons.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a true part? I changed how it was written, was that what was wrong? I'm asking because when I took the motor apart, everyong agreed with me about the steel forged pistons. I think even piston rods too, but not sure.

Pistons are made out of aluminum. It would either be cast aluminum, or forged aluminum. Forged is much stronger. Steel would be way too heavy for high rpms, would require huge balance weights, and would retain too much heat.

Take care,
~Chris

Boy, I feel stupid now. I know they are forged, because they are stamped forged under the .60. I will change that soon.

...we use this to get around the pits at Cordova, Havana, and Gateway. Runs great and does a wheelie in 1st and into 2nd gear! Good for some laughs

I just need to get one of those big wings and some neon lights and I'll be COOL... maybe not.
