There use to be a map on the older Thrifty Nickle site that was broken into states. You click on the state and it pulls up a larger view of that state. Then, within each state map, there were major cities shown with a dot. You click on the city you are interested in and it gives you the readings for that area.

A similar map could be used here. Members pick their state from the map; then they pick the major city nearest them, and it pulls up a member list and or location with contact info for members in that area.

I agree, these are all neat ideas, What about including in the area, Address's, phone numbers, and Links to Local track information. Also what about a member search area, like those things were you enter in your Zip code, and then you tell it how far you want to search in miles and it pulls up all of the information. Like if I entered my Zip code, then a 30 mile radius, it would pull up all the members, tracks, etc. in a 30 mile radius

So what do you think, Dan? Is it feasible? If so, I for one think it would be great.

OK. What you guys/gals are suggesting sounds a lot like what I've been planning to build for the Girls Can Too section of the site. Although I was planning for the Female Power Registry to be for females only.

However, I think what I could do is turn it into something grander and build it for everyone to use. I will keep this in mind, and perhaps I can build it later this year. Right now I have to do the redesign of MustangWorks.com. Then I have to finish programming all the new FunFord.com Cold Fusion / database applications before the Spring Break Shootout. I also have three other Web sites to build. Then, *whew*, I might be able to tackle this...

Thumbs up

I think a member map would be great, it is always nice to meet up with the guys/gals you chat with all the time.

Cobrayankee- What's the address for the MD area club you started?
