My Nissan's tires are pretty bald.....and old.....

I have to put it in 4WD to get anywhere in that thing if it's icy....absolutely no weight in the back end.....at all......it's fun though......hehe

Bald enough that all four tires on the LX failed the yearly inspection!!!!!

Spent $400 on a new set of GT+4's. I guess that was a good price....

hahaha.... lol. Fun has an expensive price and it starts with tires.
I would love to take a car out in the winter on a big open area and have lots of fun like slidding everywhere. I need to find alot of open room.

I spent almost $300 a piece for my 315/35/17s and I don't see why I would want to waste them spinning in one place I bought tires so I could drive my car...

I had a pair of bald steel belted radials on my old mustang that would through little sparks off the tires when you would spin them.

The nittos I have now are bald also.

The day before I bought my new tires, said to my self. "Self, why would buy new tires when the old ones still have some tread left." So I did like a 5 min. burnout(on video, but you guys will have to wait till I get a video capture card for christmas )

The bad news is I had a blow out on the way to the tire shop . NO LAUGHING

That's why you wait until you get to the tire shop to do the burnout!!!

Of course!!!! Why didn't I think of that. A busy area of town in the middle of the day would be the perfect place for a burn out. I bet all the cops would come out to watch too. Then maybe I could finally see what the inside of a jail cell looks like

I know the feeling of spinning with no marks or sound. I finally changed my tires today, put on my 10holes. The ones on my 5 stars had no tread whatsoever on them. The steel cords have worn through and I can see on one tire where they molded the softer rubber treads to the harder core of the tire. Pretty scary in the rain! I'm just glad there's no snow yet.

Nope, I'm not gonna do that ever again! I had to drive it for the last week of January when my little beater blew its head gasket. That weekend I was in London visiting my oldest brother, and then on my way home it started snowing pretty bad. Took 3 1/2 hours to get home. So nope, not gonna try it. I've nearly got the beater finished, and when that's done, the stang is off the road for the winter and part of the spring. I've got a ton of work to do to it.

Do it like me, on the way to the tire shop, spin them at everylight, and just before u get there, do a really good burnout. If your good enough, u wont get chaught.
