FivePointOhh, do you have any other pics of that car? I'd love to see them if you do.

Moc, how do you like that lightning? I'm thinking seriously about trading this Avalanche I just bought 2 monthes ago. I know I'm gonna lose alot of money on the trade but I just can't see making those huge payments on something I'm already not happy with.. I'm thinking either a lightning(need a truck) or a new cobra(need to be happy). I feel a 03 cobra would be a good friend to me and the 89, good company. Though I would hope the 89 would spank the cobra(who knows)...

I think I most surprised everyone by surviving a year with my Mustang, people were placing bets that I was going to kill myself in it. I sure proved them wrong.

I have owned my 92 for a couple of years, but I haven't been without a Foxbody Mustang of some sorts since I bought one new in 1986.

Thumbs up I like it alot

RBatson, the lightning is alot of fun ,it's still stock ,and i probably baby it way to much , if there is one thing i could change .it would be the seating arrangement ( so i could get more people inside of it ) but other than that it's badass .

Ops, I miss voted, I've had mine for 4 years, not three. I didn't realized it's been that long now! Yes, I still have my first car. It's sad to think that I have to sell it as soon as I get it running But I can't keep it if i wan't that '65 GT Fasback "K" code. I think thats much more worth it!

here it is in 1995... bone stock

by '96 it had some exhaust mods, a shifter, and a Cervini hood

by '98 the list of mods had grown to include a NX kit, a Tremec, ported stock heads and a cam, intake, etc. etc. and was going 11.70's

by spring 2000 I had put together what eventually became my current combo, with a few changes along the way... I had these wheels for a few months and then sold them once my Bogarts showed up... later ditched the Baers for the Aerospace brakes I use currently. Didn't get any pics with a full tank of gas and the battery installed

This is how the car sat in late 2000 to summer 2001... this is how it was setup when I dyno'd it... more changes came later (winter 2001) and we come to the present...

Just thought I'd share that with everyone... It'd be cool to see some rides that have evolved over the years... post 'em if ya got 'em!

MOC:

I wish I had less miles on it but I did have fun putting them all on. It's my daily driver and I don't mind driving long distances for fun. The closest Jersey beach (Belmar) is 45 minites away so it's not unlikely to go there just for lunch and a walk on the boardwalk. Not to mention the Poconos are only two hours away.

RBatson:

I have some pix on my website. I should post more.

Bought it from a gentleman in NC in 1997. Bought it as a roller no motor, or tranny. In Five years it's had 6 motors. all ranging from 306 ci's to the current 420ci.

Talking

I've had mine only a couple months, but it was 23 years in coming. I've told of my families history in Mustangs many times, and I've always looked at them when I was buying a car. This time I said, "F*** it, I'm getting me one." Wish I had done that 3 vehciles ago, or even eight for that matter.

I got my '66 in '68. it had 17,000 miles and cost $1700. 289, 2bbl, single exhaust, 200 hp. Had AC and an 8-track tape player (Lear Jet). What a buy. Never regretted it.

I've had my 89 for a year and a month. It's my second one and when I purchased it a little over a year ago, it was bone stock except for a dynomax exhaust.
