The same folks that would take your guns away also would take your Mustang (or Camaro, Corvette, etc.) away. Too fast, encourages unsafe driving, street racing, accidents, pollution, blah, blah, blah.

Those were awesome. I quess I am luckly though I get to carry my gun around with me all day everywhere I go with lots of ammo. It would be alot cooler if i could actually do that in the US walking down the street especially since i got a brand new A4. I would never have to worry about anyone bothering me. I know that will never happen but if criminals thought more people had guns they would think twice before trying to rob you or something like that.

You can carry one in Texas if you pass a course, pass a background check, and pay a fee for a concealed carry permit. It does have to be concealed though. You can't just srap one on your hip unless there is a coat to hide it.

Angry

We tried to pass the concealed carry in WI this spring, but one senator from Madison hosed it up for us!

Keep your guns clean and your ammo fresh,
Mike

I liked your little list. It makes a lot of sense. Kind of odd to be talking about guns on a car enthusiast's site, but oh what the hell. We're talking about two of my favorite things, cars and guns. If it's one thing that I do hate it's those anti-gunners. They bad mouth, lie, and do whatever else they can to make guns look bad. They want to change the truth of whatever comes out about guns that is good and make it bad.

1. Blame the media (News papers, tv staions, radio stations) . Most of them are anti-gunners. They report gun-related incidents as they think they should happen. I wouldn't say that all of them are like that, but the majority are.

2. Blame politicions (I know I didn't spell that right). It's there own fault that they create and pass bills that meet there anti-gun agenda. They want to make it to where it'd be damn near impossible to own a gun. If it came down to them being mugged, or attacked by someone and all they have is mace, there probably screwed.

3. Anti gun organizations/people that support them. This is a doosey. I can name right off the bat several organizations like this (Brady Center againist Handgun Violence [formerly Handgun Control, inc.] , Americans for Gun Safety, etc.) They keep trumping the same old message. Things like, "if we had more gun control then gun-related deaths would go down. Crime would go down." Sure, sounds great, but the thing is is that more gun control means more crime. Take for example Great Britian. Last year they made it to where in London you can't own handguns. And here's the best part of all. They've made it to where the cops can't carry them either. That means if there being shot at by a criminal, they have no means of protecting themselves (other than pepper spray and a boton, but what good will they do?)

They say that more gun control is the solution. WRONG. They say that everyone that owns a handgun is a criminal. Wrong again. They say that we should register our guns. Three strikes and your out buddy. That's a load of horse sh#t.

They say that we don't need guns. They say there the major tool of crimes committed in this country (murder, assault, grand theft to name a few.). You know, anything can be used as a weapon. Baseball bats, cars, knives, you name it, they'll probably use it. What, just because somebody is knocked with a crowbar and then cut up with a chainsaw to get rid of evidence, you want to ban these items? Because there dangerous? I hate to admit something to you, but anything can be used for a weapon. And I suppose that I could run over somebody with my truck, kill them, and then the very next day a senator would say we need to get rid of trucks because there dangerous. Bull $hit.

4. Frivelous lawsuits againist gun makers. There stupid. The only reason they go after them is because there loaded with money and they're easy targets. You want to sue somebody? Sue the person that committed the crime. Don't sue the gun manufacturer. It's not there fault that there product was used to committ a crime. It's not there fault if someone ends up dead. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Don't believe me? Then read the previous paragraph.

I've mentioned just a few of the things that are part of the continuing gun rights/controls controversy. I'd like to think that I, as a gun owner, am right and other people out there think like me. It's a load of crap that we gun owners have to deal with in this ever changing world. If you want to do your part, join the NRA. They have smaller, more local clubs around the country. They're one of the best ways to get your voice heard. Also, talk with your local congressman or woman. See what they have to say. These are just some of the ways that the little guy can make a stand againist anti-gunners.

You want my guns, you'll have to pry them from my cold, dead hands you mother ***kers.

One more thing, Charlton Heston is MY President.

I always thought gun control was about hitting the target.

The best security device ever created was the pump 12-gauge. Everybody knows what sound that makes, and no body wants to be on the receiving end of a full round of 00-buck.

I'm thinking about making a security system that plays that sound out of the bedroom instead of a syren. Anybody interested?

Anti gunners suck.
