I worked at a Taco Bell through high school and then for about 2 years at a timber company. Falling timber and working the river at the Sawmill. Then I joined the military and now am looking to become a state trooper.....Don't worry, this state trooper doesn't stop Fords, unless its to admire them.....hehe....Bowties??...pull em and ticket em....

dinomite 03-10-2001 11:43 PM

Go for it, be a trooper. Just be reasonable, give out lots of warnings, getting stopped is enough scare for most people.

Lizard King 03-11-2001 02:22 AM

I've had over 10 jobs, from pumping gas, to kitchen work to nut house cleaner... but what is more impressive is I own a computer company since I'm 18 and have 3 other sub companies now (Internet software programming, partnership in ISP, internet company).

One down fall: People think, I can claim anything on expenses... Or they want help them with computer issue on weekends... Listen I work in this day in day out... when I'm off, lay off.

Being your own boss really means, you are the guy that can take the most crap from clients. Cuz when the sh*t hits the fan, it hits my desk. And the money only comes after years of slaving & starving (in my case it looks good for 2001.)

MY first job was Del Taco in barstow, ca
Then I worked for my college California Lutheran University in the media services deparment. That was a cool job I think I learned more useful stuff there than i did in classes. After I graduated I work at a Ford Dealership In Simi Valley, CA. Then off to the army where i am a signal support system specalist. Basicly I just make sure everyone can talk on there radios and the enemy can't receive our transmissions
