![]() O.K. so i am a converted chevyfreak. i admit it. i am one of those supposed rare women who does admit when she is wrong. i want to buy a stang. I am looking for a not too serious wreck.engine size doesn't matter cause its comin out anyway. preferably '94 -'95. doesn't really matter i just don't care for the smaller body style. does however have to be auto. give me some feedback, cause you guys on this forum are KICK A$$!!!!!! and i trust your judgement. one other thing...if it helps.. my first car was a '67 mustang. so i can't be all bad. and i had a'75 also.my boss said if i find one we can do it up here in the shop and since thats what his thing is..we can do me one.

![]() Hey,
First off, WELCOME! I see you are from Indy... I think there a few of us from there on this board. Actually I am about 30 miles east but I go to IUPUI so I am here everday. Most people choose the 94-95 over the 87-93 because of the better handling and seating. The reason for the 87-93 being better, is only because it is lighter. Will you be dropping in a bigger v8 in whatever you buy? If so, I would recommend starting out with a V-8 car. That way you wont have to replace the transmission, rearend, springs, etc etc... You can really wake up a automatic with gears and a good stall.. Good Luck! Derek

![]() thanks for the input . i agree i reeeeaaalllyyyy like the '94 up better..more roomy . doesn't really matter if it is a v-8 car or not . i work for a mustang performance shop and have no problem doing whatever needs done. i have been offered a '84 coupe and although i am considering it..i may just hold out for the "better" new and improved bodystyle. i'm thinking ...306, 370 gears and a 2200 stahl. what do you guys think?

![]() If it's got an AOD, I'd go with 4.10's and a 2800 stall, but that's just me.
Take care, -Chris
