Thumbs up I am complete again. Kinda

Yesterday I got my cobra back from the body shop. It was in the shop 42 days and man was I missing it.

For those of you that dont know I had an unfortunate incident with a guardrail. When I went to pick up my car I was very excited, the guy that runs the body shop ask me if I ever race and I said yes but only from stop lights stop signs and straight roads..........He laughed and pointed at his 02' LS-1 vette vert and ask me if I wanted to run it sometime. I observed the cutom tipps exiting the rear, the huge drag radials he had out back and had to respectfully back down.

Now its time for me to get some drag radials a pinion brace a K&N and some gears. I will definitely be seeing him later, hopefully in my rearview mirror.

BTW: They did an awesome job on my car it looks great

Later,

Sweet glad to here she is back and all better. The only thing about racing him, he knows your car inside and out now. Strap on a blower & gears, and then go him.

Good to hear you are whole again. You should defiantly do a little work and give him a suprise. I forget how much slower that car is because of the vert. Should be a fun race.

Did you walk up to it, give it that long, gazing, loving, stare, and say "You complete me"??

Glad to hear you got your other half back man. That would be pure hell for me to be away from my Stangs that long.

That's great news, man. Especially that they did such a good job with it. I can't believe it's been 42 days - seems like a couple weeks ago that you posted about the incident.

Enjoy your Cobra (again!).

Wow, that does suck having been away that long. I'm happy for you.

Of course, not to play the i've got it worse game, but, my GT has been down for about 16 months.

As far as the vette goes, though, it's still worth a try. I only lost to a hard top 6spd by about 1 car length in the LX. you might as well go for it just for fun.

As soon as the weather clears up I will give him a try. I have no trouble at all beating LS-1 camaro's but I have lost to a hard top vette from a roll.

16 months!!!!!!!!!.........How are you surviving?

With this:

Believe me, though, I still can't stand to go visit the GT and see him sitting there in a barn and covered with dust 1/2 an inch thick.

"What is your major malfunction?"

Okay, I changed the pics, now they work, ok?

that really ticked me off, especially since they were from our club site, and i know they weren't being blocked. oh well, they work now.
