I can't win!!

Well, the other day after a 17 hour shift, I go home at noon to try and get some sleep to be able to be back at work at 7PM for a 12 hr shift. Just my luck I pass a guy doing about 35 going out of town, tired and wanting to get some sleep, you guessed it, I met a young, county deputy that wrote me a ticket for 73/45. Didn't even get out of 3rd gear and only my second ticket in the past 10 years. It didn't bother him that I was in the middle of working 29 out of 36 hours and all I wanted was some sleep. It also didn't bother him that I told him it looked like I was in the 55mph zone instead. He said it was borderline where the speed limit changed but he thought it was the 45 zone. Oh well, mandatory court appearance without the prepayable fine. I guess I should have drove 30 the rest of the way home and would have saved myself a lot of trouble/money. Oh well, I guess I'm lucky he didn't give me an emissions test to go along with the ticket. Sorry to bore you, just pouring out my frustrations to someone.

Cops never believe anything you tell them. It was probably the end or beginning of the month and they had to get their quota in. I feel for you!!!
